Our Emblem is an open book and a torch en-compassed by a chain bordered by two circles. It stands for knowledge and wisdom.

Our emblem symbolises the purpose of education which in Sanskrit is described as i.e. from the world of darkness and ignorance march forward into the world of knowledge and enlightenment. The book in the center of our emblem represents Knowledge and the torch indicates the purpose i.e. disperse the light of knowledge to the world, to attain truth and wisdom. The outer circle stands for universe, the inner for human virtues, and the chain between the two circles projects unity and togetherness.

Thus in Columbia Convent with the help of knowledge and human virtues, we always march onwards to our goal. From darkness to light. From ignorance to wisdom and enlightenment.
